Bryce Mitchell, the outspoken UFC fighter from Arkansas, has stunned fans by turning on Donald Trump after years of loud support.
Mitchell, 31, once said he would “take a bullet” for Trump. Now, he says the president fooled him. In a new Instagram video, Mitchell called Trump a “corrupted leader” and even compared him to the Antichrist.
“I was fooled by him,” Mitchell said. “He talked a good game. I don’t support him. I don’t like him.”
Yes, this is the same Bryce Mitchell who wore American flag shorts and proudly praised Trump on TV. The same fighter who said politicians were lying to the people, except for Trump. Now he’s convinced Trump might actually be the biggest liar of all.
Mitchell said his main reason for flipping is Trump’s failure to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. “Both Democrats and Republicans are asking for those files to be released,” he said, “but Trump has done nothing about it.”
He also accused Trump of sending U.S. money overseas. “He’s sending our tax money to Ukraine and Israel,” Mitchell said. “That’s a betrayal.”
According to Mitchell, Trump even blamed American beef farmers for rising meat prices. “That’s nonsense,” he said. “He’s turning on his own people.”
For anyone who’s followed Mitchell’s wild statements over the years, this might not be too shocking. He once claimed Israel carried out the 9/11 attacks. He said Adolf Hitler was a “good guy” he would “go fishing with.” He also said another UFC fighter, Jean Silva, was “possessed by demons.”
(So yes, Bryce Mitchell’s spiritual radar has been active for a while.)
Still, calling Trump the Antichrist is new territory even for him. In the video, Mitchell asked followers to read Revelation 13:3 from the Bible. He said Trump matches the description of “the beast” who gains global worship.
“I believe Donald Trump is the beast,” Mitchell said firmly. “He fooled me.”
Ironically, Mitchell’s Instagram still has a pinned post from Trump’s second inauguration. In it, he called the event “the experience of a lifetime.” Fans are now flooding that post with laughing emojis and Bible verses.
