Mark Epstein Claims Records Are Being ‘Scrubbed’ to Hide Trump Dirt

Mark Epstein, the younger brother of Jeffrey Epstein, told interviewers this week that his brother once said he had damaging information about top politicians, including President Donald Trump.

“I would not be surprised if officials had scrubbed parts of the files to remove some names,” Mark said, and he added a sharper detail about where that work might be happening. “There’s a facility in Winchester, Virginia, where they’re scrubbing the files to take Republican names out of it,” he told interviewers, calling the tip “from a pretty good source.”

“If he said what he knew about the candidates they’d have to cancel the election,” Mark told interviewers, and he added that he was never told the details. “Because Jeffrey said, he said he had dirt on Trump,” Mark said. “I don’t know what it was, but years ago he said he had dirt on Trump.”

Imagine this. President Trump this week reversed course and urged House Republicans to back a plan to release unclassified Justice Department records about Epstein.

The move surprised many and gave fresh momentum to a vote that was already moving forward.

Lawmakers say a House vote could force publication of documents that have been locked inside probes and court files.

If the measure passes the House it would still face hurdles, but leaders say a rare bipartisan push means more pages are likely to reach the public.

Some of the material is already public. Earlier releases included a letter that Democrats pointed to as part of new scrutiny into Epstein’s ties to powerful people.

Victim groups and survivor advocates have pushed for full transparency. Think about what that means for people who want answers.

Online reactions on X were sharp and blunt.

Others cut to the chase with little patience. “No shit. Did anyone ever think Trump would allow the truth on this out into the public sphere?”

Some users called for straight comparison and careful checking.

Those lines show how quickly people move from doubt to demand to action in a single breath.

No single interview settles big questions. But Mark Epstein’s words about scrubbing, the president’s sudden change, and the push in Congress combine to make this a live story that could change with each new page.

At the center of it all is a simple dramatic image: a brother saying his sibling once promised he had dirt on the president, and lawmakers racing to show whether the pages prove him right or wrong.
